Style has been a pivotal aspect in the choices I have made in life that have defined me as a person. At the forefront of all that I do, style has dictated where I have lived, learned and loved.
Having resided in London, UK for the last 2 years and Brussels, Belgium, for the 5 consecutive years prior to that, I have seized the opportunities that have presented and continue to present themselves internationally throughout Europe and America, specifically in the fashion and music industry.
I possess a valuable and fine balance between lateral thinking and out-of-the-box creativity and project management. Coupled with boundless energy and relentless tenacity in the pursuit of perfection, I am a confident, innovative stylist with an eye for unique imagery and a proficient outlook on past and present trends notwithstanding an innate ability to forecast and act imaginatively and originally.
As travel is a major defining point in being able to do what it is I am most passionate about, I feel it best to break my experiences into the cities I frequent and lust over the most.
In March 2015 I started working at Net-A-Porter as a junior online stylist where I have worked for almost 2 years. I gained invaluable experience and knowledge into the world of styling from a e-com and luxury global retail online business perspective. This experience gave me insight into styling that focuses on detailed brand knowledge and customer knowledge, brand alignment and aesthetic. This has helped to shape a 360 degree scope of styling where prior to this my experience had been predominantly editorial and personal styling. In September 2016 I was promoted in the company and was in charge of the Net-A-Sporter section of the site insuring that the global teams styling was always on brand and technically sound.
In February 2013, I styled the album cover for French band Yelle “L’amour Parfait” which was in collaboration with Petit Bateau clothing.
February 2014 saw me commence a sales and marketing role for Belgian women’s wear designer Jean-Paul L’espagnard. Working in a small team meant that the role was incredibly diverse and led me to also look after styling of the look-books as well as the production for the Paris Fashion Week presentations for both AW14 and SS15.
Styled the ‘Chilled Denim’ shoot in Paris featuring Miriam Adler shot by Karl Habb which was featured in Lowdown Magazine in the February 2015 issue.
Styled the ‘Salvation Mountain’ shoot in California for Aust Magazine
Styled 40 years of Kate Moss ‘Model Mimic’ tribute shoot featuring Valentina Sykes for Oyster Magazine which was featured in January 2014
Styled ‘La Fin de l’ete’ shoot for Oyster Magazine which was featured in March 2014
January 2105 saw me style the look-book for cashmere based fashion label Banjo and Mathilda in Sydney with models Miriam Adler and Lucinda Taffs
Commenced a contributor role for NY based fashion website Allmyfriendsaremodels.com. Where I contribute with styling editorials and also trend forecasting for the site which commenced in June 2014
